Hemispheres, The Movie

Longview Media Creations, Inc. in conjunction with Aspect Studios, is filming a feature-length documentary exploring the current state of Cerebral Palsy (CP). The film will investigate cutting-edge cures and forward thinking about the affliction, through interviews with interesting families and individuals with CP as well as the research physicians and initiators of the research who have extensive knowledge about the birth defect. The documentary will chronicle progress in cures from botox to stem cells and even the future notion of "Body Hacking".

In the spirit that anything can be achieved, the film will chronicle the trials, tribulations and successes of Adele Schneidereit, a woman with CP, who declared she will learn to fly with the goal of flying around the world. The film will follow her first flights, obtaining a Medical as required by the FAA and obtaining the ratings necessary for the flight and gaining the experience required for the flight around the world in June 2009.

The film will also explore the current state of people living with CP and how the culture presently helps or hinders those lives. While 78% of those afflicted with CP are unemployed and hidden from public view, the film will interview others who have excelled in spite of CP. We will meet Dr. Bob, the only American with CP to have earned two Doctorates, and Duncan Wyeth, a winner of two medals in the Paralympics. We will also meet the beautiful Emily Dolenz, the daughter of Monkees Micky Dolenz.

Inspire the World Foundation, the prime sponsor of the film, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising global awareness and finding a cure for Cerebral Palsy. Excess profits from the movie shall go toward research and development of cures for Cerebral Palsy.

Raising awareness and money for research to find a cure for CP is urgent. Other non-profit organizations claim that CP is incurable, however, we respectfully disagree. The cures for Cerebral Palsy exist they just haven't been found yet. We believe the cure will soon be discovered through the rapidly advancing technology of today's world.

The movie is scheduled for release in Autumn 2009.
